Technology Business Incubator (TBI)

BVRIT takes the pride in announcing that it has been approved as an Business Incubator by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government Of India under the scheme " Support for entrepreneurial and managerial development of MSMEs through incubators ". The objective of incubator is to promote and support untapped creativity of individual innovators and to assist them to become technology based entrepreneurs.

About the Scheme	The scheme aims at nurturing innovative business ideas (new and / or ingenious technology, process, products, procedures, etc.,) which can be commercialized in a year.
Level of Funding	About Rs. 6.25 lakh per business idea. This is to support entrepreneur / incubate for costs relating to technology fee, guidance fee for mentors / handholding persons, hiring or leasing cost of machinery / equipment / instruments or related services, office facilities etc.
Thrust areas	BVRIT - TBI has a special focus in some thrust areas like Electronics & Electrical appliances, Nano materials / technology, Information Technology, Assistive Technologies and Renewable Energy Technologies. It also welcomes the business ideas in any other area of mutual interest.
Who can apply	Anybody (Students / individuals / Micro and Small Enterprises) having innovative business ideas at near commercialization stage.
