Padmasri Dr. B.V. Raju Instiute Of Technology (BVRIT) is named after the eminent philanthropist
Late. Padma Bhushan Dr. B.V. Raju. This institute was established in the year 1997. This institute is governed by a body of distinguished professionals from IITs, Engineering and Government sectors, led by Sri. K.V.Vishnu Raju, Managing Director, Anjani Portland Cement Corporation. He is a young and dynamic graduate in Chemical Engineering from REC, Trichi and a Postgraduate from Michigan Technological University, USA.

The purpose of establishing BVRIT by the Founder Chairman, Late. Padma Bhushan Dr. B.V.Raju was to provide high quality technical education in a perfect ambience for the all round development of a student. The present Chairman, the charismatic Sri. K.V. Vishnu Raju has transformed his grandfather’s dream into reality. Under his hegemony, BVRIT made a quantum leap in its reputation for its high quality intake, excellent infrastructure & research facilities, highest number of placements, etc. His personal vision is to see BVRIT as one of the premier institutes in the entire country.

The campus is situated just beyond the woods of Narsapur in Medak District. The calm, serene and scenic surroundings with woods and hills form an ideal place for an invigorating academic experience. Spanning over 110 acres of land away from the din of the city, this campus houses approximately 2000 young students and nurtures them through their path to education and enlightenment, and empowers them for the challenges beyond. This sprawling campus is a mixture of technology and scenic beauty that resembles the bygone ashrams for higher learning.
